Founded in 1954, BURGER KING® is the second-largest fast-food hamburger chain in the world

Every day, more than 11 million customers visit BURGER KING® restaurants around the world.
The brand’s commitment to high-quality ingredients, signature recipes, and family-friendly dining experiences has defined it for more than 50 years.

A need to recruit at a specific point in time in specific areas

To keep pace with its growth and the resulting increase in new restaurant openings, Burger King needs to hire many managers throughout France.

Due to intense competition and a limited pool of candidates, Burger King has been working with us for over two years to diversify its sourcing channels and reach a wider range of candidates in order to attract as many qualified applicants as possible.

Chloé Lemercier, Employer Branding Communications Manager at Burger King France:

"We've been working with Bonanza for over three years to recruit managers for our restaurants. These candidates are hard to find, and we wanted to reach them through channels other than traditional recruitment channels."

‍+71% of candidates in the target group

Bonanza supports Burger King at various locations throughout the Île-de-France region, as well as in Chambéry, Strasbourg, Grenoble, Lille, Lyon, l’Isle d’Abeau, Marseille, Soufflenheim, Nantes, Angers, and Blois, depending on its needs.

Each advertising campaign is co-created in collaboration with the brand to perfectly align with its brand image—quirky and unique—while also reflecting real-world conditions to find the message that will appeal to managers.

Thanks to this innovative approach, Burger King has successfully raised awareness of its employer brand among more than 8 million people. The company achieved a click-through rate of 8.22% on certain campaigns—20 times higher than the average click-through rate for HR advertising (excluding Bonanza).

Ultimately, nearly 700 potential candidates are interested in restaurant management positions. But the numbers don’t stop there. This strategy has also led to a significant number of applications. Among these, 43% of the pre-qualified candidates have passed the initial stages of the recruitment process, confirming the quality of the applications received.

"We launch an average of one campaign per month, and Bonanza has become one of our main sources of qualified candidates. We refine our strategies and targets with each campaign, and together, we've managed to strike the right balance between HR marketing and pure recruitment."
