As the capital of France, an international metropolis, and a hub for population, economy, and decision-making, the City of Paris is a local government whose primary mission is to serve all Parisians.

In schools, on the streets, in parks, in stadiums… wherever there is a need for public action, City of Paris employees put their experience to work for the public. More than 53,000 employees work for the City of Paris, and 2,000 new employees are hired each year.

Fulfilling Commitments to People with Disabilities

The City has identified 350 job categories, and new ones are regularly added as the administration adapts to an ever-changing city.

To fulfill its commitments to the inclusion of people with disabilities and to lead by example, the City of Paris has set ambitious goals for hiring individuals with disabilities, aiming to recruit 30 RQTH-certified work-study students each year.

100% of the RQTH target

We launched a recruitment campaign on social media with the goal of raising awareness to improve our recruitment efforts.
It is important to implement awareness-raising initiatives to highlight the measures we offer to support people with disabilities.
As a result, thanks to a targeted campaign, we doubled the city’s recruitment numbers compared to the previous year.

Delphine Bellet, Head of the SRH Office—Disability Affairs Representative for the City of Paris

“With Bonanza, we were able to meet our recruitment goal for RQTH employees within the City of Paris for the first time, which is why we’re continuing to work with them.”
